Abstract

Selon la présente invention, des cellules souches mésenchymateuses humaines pluridifférenciées sont isolées. Cette invention concerne également un procédé permettant d'isoler et de purifier ces cellules souches mésenchymateuses humaines à partir de cultures de type Dexter en vue de la caractérisation et de l'utilisation de ces cellules, en particulier pour des utilisations thérapeutiques de ces cellules. De manière plus spécifique, ces cellules souches mésenchymateuses isolées peuvent être utilisées à des fins diagnostiques et dans le but de renforcer la prise de greffe de cellules souches hématopoïétiques, de renforcer la transplantation de moelle osseuse ou de contribuer au traitement ou à la prévention de la réaction du greffon contre l'hôte.
