Abstract

It is intended to provide a high-density cell culture method using an apatite sheet and a culture apparatus to be used therein. A cell culture module with the use of an apatite sheet serving as a cell culture bed has been developed for the first time. In this module, a medium is supplied through the apatite sheet cell culture bed integrated in the module and thus cells proliferate within the sheet. Namely, the characteristic open-cell structure among fibers of the apatite sheet is utilized in this method.
