Abstract

A carton includes a base wall (2), a pair of side walls (8A, 8B) hingedly connected to opposed side edges of the base wall (2), a first top panel (15A) hingedly connected to an upper edge of one (8A) of the side walls, a pair of end flaps (19A, 19A) hingedly connected to opposed end edges of the top panel (15A) and extending toward the base wall (2), a finger aperture (22) defined in the top panel (15A), and a strap handle (25) disposed slidably with respect to an underside of the top panel (15A) and exposed to view within the finger aperture (22). The strap handle (25) includes a main strap (29) having a medial portion extending parallel to opposed side edges of the top panel (15A). The opposite ends of the main strap are hingedly connected to the end flaps (19A, 19A) along fold lines (24, 24). Each fold line (24) extends parallel to a notional line extending between the top panel (15A) and the base wall (2).
