La presente solicitud de Patente de Invención tiene por objeto el registro de un tapacubos con sistema antirrobo de fijación rápida que incorpora notables innovaciones y ventajas frente a los actuales tapacubos para las ruedas de vehículos automóviles y similares.DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY. Es común que en un giro brusco, un golpe de la rueda con un bordillo o en la sacudida producida por un bache el tapacubos salte de su alojamiento en la llanta. DESCRIPCIÓN DE UNA REALIZACIÓN PREFERENTE.DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT.
A la vista de las comentadas figuras y de acuerdo con la numeración adoptada, se puede observar en las mismas una realización preferente aunque no limitativa de la invención, la cual consiste en un cuerpo discoidal (1) de cobertura de la llanta (10) de una rueda de automóvil. Dicho disco (1) presenta una serie de proyecciones (2) tubulares en correspondencia con la ubicación de los tornillos (7) de anclaje en la llanta (10), encontrándose en el extremo de dicha proyección (2) una embocadura (4) de fijación del tapacubos a la cabeza del tornillo (7). Cada una de las embocaduras (4) está constituida por un labio (5) interior que presenta un contorno frontal achaflanado circundante y un contorno posterior escalonado recto o similar, existiendo preferentemente una pluralidad de entallas (6) o ranuras longitudinales distribuidas a lo largo de la citada embocadura (4). La embocadura (4) presenta embebida en su contorno interior un fleje metálico (3) cónico o cilindrico, ajustado al contorno interior del labio (5), pudiendo estar sustituido dicho fleje (3) por un anillo elástico de compresión circundante a dicha embocadura (4) por su parte exterior. A su vez, cada uno de los tornillos (7) de anclaje de la llanta (10) al buje (9) presenta en el contorno de su cabeza un aro (8) o nervio circundante apto para la interferencia con el labio (5) interior de la embocadura (4) correspondiente, siendo el contorno externo de dicho aro (8) inclinado en chaflán, en tanto que el contorno interno del aro (8) es recto en concordancia con el contorno interior del labio (5).
