Description

Disposable hygienic animal litter set
The utility model relates to a disposable hygienic animal htter set making possible simple hygienic Uttering of animals, dogs, cats kept inside a flat.
Littering custom of animals, dogs, cats inside a flat and small rodents kept in a terrarium is as follows: A litter-tray is put in any part of the flat, which is regularly visited by the animal in order to dispose of its excrement. The htter-tray made generally of plastic is filled in with htter of five and ten kilograms units available in retail trade, usually with five kilograms at a time. Most frequently used litters are hygroscopic materials, for example zeolite, bentonite, but by-products of wood, wood granules, shavings or synthetic hygroscopic granules are also used.
The htter filled on the tray will become saturated and will stink within days depending on use. Then the whole htter is exchanged, the used htter is thrown away and the htter-tray is filled in with clean htter. During the manipulation the htter-tray must be cleaned and disinfected as well, otherwise the exchange of the htter does not ensure proper hygienic conditions. The characteristic property of the litters available in retail trade is that they become lumpy under the effect of humidity, due to this during the exchange of the htter, the htter is removed from the htter-tray with a shovel serving this purpose. It is not always efficient enough taking into consideration the big volume of the htter.
Patent No. HU 215213 makes known a htter for small animals and cats according to prior art. A htter especially suitable for small animals for example cats is made known in Hungarian patent apphcation No. P 88 00122 published on 28.01.1990 under No. H 3342. According to the patent the said htter consists of a perforated tray and a refill of hygroscopic material which is removable, placed under the perforated tray, the said refills are kept in a holding tray below the perforated tray.
The disadvantages of the htter methods used at present are that the htter-trays become quickly worn and their aesthetics could be objected as well. It is also dif-ficult to throw them away after use, their material can be harmful to the environment. Their proper cleaning and the exchange of the htter inside the flat can also be difficult. On the other hand animals do not feel comfortable on a htter-tray not kept clean enough. In lack of a rim htter can easily drop out of the htter-tray during the going in and out of the animals, or in lack of appropriately shaped rim htter can not be held inside.
Working out the solution according to the utihty model our aim is to realise a hygienic animal htter set, which is light-weight and easy to use.
Working out the solution according to the utihty model we realised as an inventive step, that the set goal can be achieved if the set consisting of a htter-tray and htter placed in the htter-tray suitable for httering small animals, is provided with an outer covering wrapping up the whole surface of the htter-tray in such a way, that on the upper part of the htter-tray a perforation is formed on the said outer covering.
The utihty model is a disposable hygienic animal htter set, which comprises of a htter-tray and htter serving as htter for small animals. The htter set is characterised by that, an outer covering wrapping up the htter-tray is placed on the whole outer surface of the htter-tray, and the said outer covering is provided with a perforation on the upper part of the said htter-tray.
In a preferred embodiment of the set according to the utihty model the outer covering is made of plastic shrink-fihn, and/or the htter-tray is provided with a lid perforated on the upper part. The material of the htter-tray is impregnated paper, and/or plastic, and/or wood, and/or aluminium foil. The htter is of hygroscopic mineral material, preferably zeohte or bentonite, or wood shavings, or wood granule, or synthetic hygroscopic material.
Solutions according to the utihty model are set forth by the enclosed drawings:
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the set according to the utihty model in a closed state.
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the set according to the utihty model in an open state.
FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the set according to the utihty model. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the set according to the utihty model in a closed state. In the given case the htter-tray 1 is a tray of rectangular shape serving the purpose of storing the htter 2, the dimensions of the htter-tray 1 are determined by demand. During production when assembling the set according to the utihty model the htter 2 will be placed into the said htter-tray 1 and an outer covering 3 preferably made of shrink-fihn is placed on the said htter-tray 1. On the outer covering 3 a perforation 7 is provided during the production, the said perforation 7 indicates the place of opening and makes opening easier. The set according to the utihty model is distributed in a sealed state described above. This sealing prevents the htter 2 from dropping out of the inside of the said htter-tray 1 during delivery or storing.
FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the set according to the utihty model in an open state. An opening 6 of the outer covering 3 in given case made of shrink-fihn provides an upper frame of the said htter-tray 1. During ripping open a rim 8 is formed above the outer covering 3 and sides 5 around the opening 6 preventing that the content of the htter-tray 1, animal excrement and the htter 2 get out of the inside of the said htter-tray 1. The said rim 8 is cut from the outer covering 3 serving as packaging. There is no folding of the side 5 of the htter-tray 1, the said htter tray 1 is covered from the top by the outer covering 3, which outer covering 3 is in given case made of shrink-film.
FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the set according to the utihty model. The disposable hygienic cat and small animal htter set comprises of three main parts, of the htter-tray 1, of the htter 2 placed in the said htter-tray 1, and of the outer covering 3 wrapping up the said htter-tray 1 from outside. In the given case the htter-tray 1 is a tray of preferably rectangular shape serving the purpose of storing the htter 2, and the dimensions of the said htter-tray 1 are determined by demand. The material of the htter-tray is preferably impregnated paper but it can also be made of plastic, or wood or rolled alurnimum or in given case of aluminium foil. The htter apphed for filling of the htter 2 is preferably hygroscopic natural mineral material, which is suitable for such an apphcation due to its damp absorbing property, for example zeohte or bentonite. Filling of the htter-tray 1 is possible with wood by-products or wood shavings or wood granules furthermore with synthetic hygroscopic granule. Materials used for filling are all disinfected and provided with odour control. The outer covering 3 of shrink-fihn made of preferably biologically degradable materials is placed on the htter-tray 1 filled with Htter 2 wrapping up the htter-tray 1 at the sides 5 respectively at bottom 4 and over the upper part of the said htter-tray 1. The top of the said outer covering 3 is cut at the perforation 7 shaped in advance and this way on the top around the opening 6 the remaining outer covering 3 creates a little rim 8. The set according to the utihty model becomes usable this way and the said rim 8 prevents the dropping out of the htter 2.
In a preferred embodiment of the utihty model the htter-tray 1 is of rectangular shape, the side 5 of the htter-tray 1 is vertical or slanting or of arched form. The htter-tray 1 can be of angular, or heart, or cat- shaped as required. In case of a shape of a cat, the belly of the cat serves as the htter-tray 1. The htter-tray 1 is in given case a cardboard box of 10 centimetres height, which is filled with granule as htter up to four-five centimetres height. The whole set is covered with shrink-fihn and this said covering is provided with decoration. Different decorations are provided for different animals. The material of the htter-tray 1 in a preferred embodiment is water-proof paper or cardboard tray. In the given case the htter 2 is placed at three centimetres height.
Dimensions of the htter-tray 1 are as follows: Length 100 mm - 800 mm, width 100 mm - 800 mm, height 10 mm - 300 mm. The material of the htter-tray 1 is paper, or plastic, or wood, or alurninium-foil. The inside of the htter-tray 1 is filled with mineral grist, in given case zeohte or bentonite or wood derivates, in given case wood shavings or wood granules or synthetic hygroscopic material up to 3....5 centimetres height. In an other preferred embodiment the htter-tray 1 is provided with a perforated tearing hd. In case of an actual product produced according to the utihty model the data of the product are put on the outer covering 3. The set according to the utihty model can be thrown away as a whole after use.
The advantage of the utihty model is, that compared with prior art solutions it is of light weight, economical, practical, hygienic and can be simply stored. It simplifies unpleasant proceedings of exchange of htter of animals by being disposable. It does not contaminate environment as all the raw materials are biologically degradable. The product is basically made of natural materials, but it is also possible to produce it from chemicals.
