  • the switching center 2 is able to perform ticketing, i.e. allocates resources for subscribers connecting to the switching center 2 which will be described in connection with Fig. 2.

According to the preferred embodiment, the switching center 2 gives the business category a high priority and the normal and telemetric categories a low priority (step SI in Fig. 2) . Then the switching center 2 groups together the categories having the same priority. That is, the business category forms a subscriber group having high priority and the normal and telemetric categories form a subscriber group having low priority (step S2) .

  • the switching center 2 may for example reserve 60% of its resources for the group with high priority and the remaining 40% for the group with low priority.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de commutation ainsi qu'un élément de réseau (2) mettant en oeuvre ce procédé. Dans ledit procédé, des priorités sont attribuées à des catégories d'abonnés, les catégories d'abonnés de même priorité sont assemblées en un groupe d'abonnés et des ressources sont réservées pour chaque groupe d'abonnés. Lorsqu'une demande d'utilisation de ressource en relation avec une demande de connexion d'abonné est reçue d'un abonné (1), le groupe d'abonnés auquel l'abonné (1) appartient est déterminé et une ressource pour l'abonné (1) est attribuée parmi les ressources réservées à ce groupe d'abonnés.
