Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil à circuit amovible destiné à être utilisé dans un décodeur à câble numérique couplé à un ensemble de télévision, ledit appareil pouvant être inséré dans une interface hôte de point de déploiement associée au décodeur à câble numérique. L'appareil à circuit amovible est constitué (1) d'une interface de module de point de déploiement pouvant être couplée à l'interface hôte de point de déploiement ; (2) d'un processeur de données couplé à l'interface de module de point de déploiement, pouvant transmettre au décodeur à câble numérique au moins un signal audio et/ou un signal vidéo pouvant être affiché sur l'écran d'un ensemble de télévision ; et (3) d'une mémoire couplée au processeur de données, pouvant stocker un programme d'application de point de déploiement utilisateur pouvant être exécuté par le processeur de données.
