Abstract

The present invention provides a system and method of monitoring the operations of one or more labor-sensitive facilities and providing management support thereto. The system includes at least one sensor operable to receive quantitative data associated with the operations of the facilities, and at least one camera installed in the facility operable to capture images. Further, a processor is in communications with the at least one sensor and operable to receive the quantitative data. The processor is also in communications with the at least one camera and operable to receive the captured images. The processor is operable to derive quantitative data from the captured images, analyze the quantitative data, compare them with predetermined thresholds, and generate an alert in response to any threshold being exceeded. A central computer is in communications with the processor and is operable to receive at least a subset of the data received by the restaurant processor and any alert. The central computer is also operable to display to an off-site user the received data and alert, and to enable communication therebetween.
