Abstract

The digital asset tracking and re-use apparatus and method permits the user to efficiently track and re-use digital assets, such as multimedia resources or software modules. In a preferred embodiment, the multimedia software application localization apparatus and method permits the efficient and cost effective localization of a multimedia software application. In particular, the localization apparatus may track various multimedia resources that are created by a developer without interfering with the work of the developer and store information about the multimedia resources. The gathered information about the multimedia resources may be used by a localizer to improve the localization process.
