Description
DISPOSITIVO PARA PRODUCIR ESCLEROSANTE ESPUMADO OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓN DEVICE FOR PRODUCING SLUMPING FOAMED OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The invention that concerns us concerns a device for producing foam sclerosants from liquid sclerosants, which are intended to simplify this type of device.
Foamed sclerosant is used in the treatment of varicose veins, in which it is injected.
OF THE INVENTION The device for producing foamed sclerosant of the invention is characterized in that it has a container in which the sclerosing liquid is deposited from which the foamed sclerosant is produced.
The container is provided with connection means to a source of impeller gas, which are preferably located at the base thereof.
In addition, the container is hermetically sealed by a head in which a small diameter probe tube that runs along the inside of the container is fixed.
In correspondence with the end of the probe tube, and in the head itself, a valve has been arranged whose actuation communicates the output of the probe tube with an outlet conduit disposed in the head, the application of the sclerosant being foamed.
To achieve this functionality, gas is injected inside the container to a certain pressure, so that when the valve is actuated, the foam sclerosant exits through the outlet duct and through the probe tube, which reduces the pressure of exit.
Advantageously, the valve is determined by a rod assisted by a spring that runs transversely to the head, from which it protrudes and is finished off by a push button. In addition the rod is equipped with two channels perimetrics in which o-rings are retained between which the outlet of the probe tube is located, so that when the button is pressed the outlet of the probe tube is released allowing the passage of the foamed sclerosant from the probe tube to the exit of the head.
After pressing the button and enabling the exit of the sparkling sclerosant, it is prevented from leaving the outside through the rod housing, by means of a third O-ring located in a third perimetric channel of the rod that prevents the exit of the sparkling sclerosant.
Obviously the valve can be implemented by any type of manually operated closure.
The means of connecting the container to a source of impeller gas are determined by a quick connector, type fitting or by a direct threaded connection connector.
Next, in order to facilitate a better understanding of this descriptive report and forming an integral part thereof, a series of figures are attached in which the object of the invention has been represented by way of illustration and not limitation.

Figure 2.- Shows a bottom view of the device for producing foamed sclerosant of the previous figure.

Thus the device to produce sclerosant Foaming of the invention has a container 1 and a head 2 in which a probe tube 3 is fixed by threading, which through a conical section 4 communicates with a housing 6 of a rod 7. The head 2 seals the container 1 tightly by an O-ring 5, so that the probe tube runs along the inside of the container 1.
The rod is assisted by a spring 8 and includes a stop 9 that prevents it from being removed from the housing.
The rod 7 goes outside the head 2 and is finished off by a push button 10.
In a preferred embodiment, the rod 10 is removable for what is secured by means of a bushing 19 which is screwed to the head 2.
In addition, the rod 7 has two o-rings 11 and 12 housed in a perimeter channel, between which the probe tube 3 is arranged. The rod 7 has a third perimeter channel in which a third O-ring 13 is retained.
The housing 6 of the rod 7 communicates with an outlet duct 14 which is presented as an extension or neck of the head 2 to enable the connection of the conventional ducts or means of distribution of the foamed product such as a body 15 that It includes a key 16 for opening and closing the outlet of the sclerosing product to a tube 17, as will be explained later.
In the lower base of the container 1 a connector 18 is included to connect a source of impeller gas such as liquid air, helium, oxygen, etc.
In order to achieve the correct operation of the described structure, once the container 1 is opened, it is filled with the sclerosing liquid, and then sealed with the head 2. At this point, the impeller gas is injected into the container 1 until it reaches a certain pressure, so that if in this circumstance the button 10 is actuated, overcoming the action of the spring 8, the displacement of the rod 7 and consequently the displacement of the o-rings 11, 12 and 13, so that the outlet of the probe tube, instead of being located between the o-rings 11 and 12, is located between the o-rings 12 and 13 so that the connection of the outlet duct 14, through the housing 6, with the probe tube 3 through which the foamed sclerosant runs due to the pressure inside the container 1, pressure which is reduced by the small inner diameter of the tube probe 3 and goes outside through the outlet conduit 14, from which it is carried by tube 17 to the varicose vein in which it is injected.
In the exemplary embodiment, the probe tube 3 is internally covered by a copper tube, so in the section of Figure 3 a double path is seen.
