Abstract

The invention relates to a switchgear cabinet comprising a framing (1) and covering parts (2, 3, 4) provided in the form of lateral walls, a rear wall, a sheet steel top, etc. A protective system provided for suppressing interferences caused by electromagnetic radiation is formed by film pieces (5, 6, 10) which are arranged between the framing (1) and the covering parts (2, 3, 4). The film pieces are electrically conductive and are fastened to the framing using common adhesive tapes before the covering parts are applied. The described construction of a switchgear cabinet permits a high degree of electromagnetic compatibility (EMV) while using few materials and less work time.

Description

Beschreibungdescription
Schaltschrank mit einer Schutzeinrichtung gegen elektromagnetische StrahlungControl cabinet with a protective device against electromagnetic radiation
The invention relates to a control cabinet with a scaffold and the covering parts covering the scaffold and with a protective device against interference from electromagnetic radiation. A control cabinet of this type has become known, for example, from EP 0 529 748 B1 or EP 0 528 240 AI.
Die möglichen Quellen einer störenden elektromagnetischen Strahlung sind vielfältig: es können beispielsweise Schaltlichtbö- gen von energietechnischen Schaltgeräten wie Schützen oderThe protective device mentioned has the task, on the one hand, of preventing electromagnetic radiation from escaping from the control cabinet into the environment in order to avoid interference with other devices or systems. On the other hand, the penetration of a disturbing electromagnetic radiation in the environment into a control cabinet is also to be prevented, so that devices and equipment located therein cannot be influenced. The resistance to interfering influences of the type described is referred to as "electromagnetic compatibility" (EMC). The possible sources of interfering electromagnetic radiation are diverse: for example, switching arcs from energy-related switching devices such as contactors or
An sich stellen die zum Bau von Schaltschränken eingesetztenBe circuit breakers, also devices with power semiconductors, especially if they work in partial load operation. Other sources of high-frequency interference are all equipment that works in the high or high frequency range anyway, such as microprocessor devices and transmitters. The radiation emitted by such devices can in particular influence neighboring electronic systems by causing incorrect or unwanted reactions. As such, they are used to build control cabinets
Materials, for example sheet steel with a thickness of two mm, represent an effective barrier against the passage of interfering electromagnetic radiation. However, for constructional inevitable reasons, there are numerous places on switch cabinets where the covering parts do not lie directly on the scaffolding or where there are operational gaps are present, such as on doors. High-frequency and ultra-high-frequency radiation (mega and gigahertz range) can pass through such gaps. For this reason, the path has so far been taken to seal such gaps in a radiation-proof manner, for example by means of electrically conductive door seals made of elastic metal fabric or conductive, compressible plastic or foam. This targeted application of sealing material requires careful work and is always associated with the uncertainty that individual possible passages for disruptive radiation are overlooked.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to create a simple, reliable and inexpensive protective device against interference from electromagnetic radiation. This object is achieved according to the invention in that the protective device has at least one flexible piece of film made of an electrically conductive plastic film and that the piece of film is arranged between the frame and the covering parts. The use of a film has the advantage that a complete EMC shielding or sealing of a control cabinet is basically achieved. It is therefore impossible for critical areas or system-related openings, eg screw holes, to be overlooked. However, if openings are required, for example for ventilation grilles or lead-throughs for cables, these can be produced in the simplest way by cutting open the piece of film. Since film-like plastics, also in electrically conductive equipment, are available inexpensively, they represent a cheap alternative to the previous means.
Control cabinets generally have at least one movable covering part in the form of a door for access to the interior. So that the desired EMC tightness also exists here, the film piece can be dimensioned for the entire circumference of the scaffold including the door, in such a way that the film piece on the hinge side of the door passes from the scaffold to the door. According to one embodiment of the invention, however, the EMC seal can be easier to manufacture in that, in the case of a switchgear cabinet with an access opening to be closed by a movable covering part, at least a first piece of film is arranged leaving the access opening free and that at least one separate second piece of film is provided is, which is at least locally electrically connected to the first piece of film.
When the film pieces are attached to the scaffolding and / or the covering parts of a control cabinet, it cannot be ruled out that damage will occur which locally impairs the desired protection against electromagnetic radiation. This possible influence can be counteracted by arranging two or more pieces of film one above the other, in particular in an overlapping arrangement.
A reduced amount of work for the production of protective equipment for a control cabinet can also be contributed by the fact that the film pieces consist of a material that can be shrunk under the influence of heat. It is then irrelevant whether folds or similar irregularities occur when the film pieces are attached to the frame or to the covering parts of the control cabinet because these by the subsequent application of heat, e.g. B. hot air, can be smoothed easily.
The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the figures.
Die Figur 1 zeigt in einer schematisch vereinfachten perspektivischen Darstellung ein Gerüst eines Schaltschrankes mit einem Folienstück und mehreren Umhüllungsteilen.FIG. 1 shows a schematically simplified perspective illustration of a framework of a control cabinet with a piece of film and a plurality of covering parts.
A detail in the area of an access opening of a control cabinet is shown in section in FIG.
The scaffold 1 of a control cabinet shown in FIG. 1 can have any suitable structure, since the invention can be used regardless of the nature of the scaffold 1. However, the scaffold 1 is preferably made of sheet steel parts with a view to a high suppression of disturbing electromagnetic radiation. In contrast to control cabinets of a customary type, sheathed parts 2, 3 and 4 (side walls, rear wall and roof panel) indicated in FIG. 1 are not fastened directly to the frame 1, but with flexible and electrically conductive film pieces 5 and 6 interposed. Of these, the piece of film 5 encloses the frame 1 approximately U-shaped, while the piece of film 6 is essentially planar and is assigned to the covering part 4 designed as a roof plate. An access opening 7 on the front of the scaffold 1 is shown in FIG. 1 without a covering part and without a piece of film, since the relevant details of this access area are shown in more detail in FIG.
The example according to FIG. 2 assumes that a film material with a high-frequency conductive coating is used. The first piece of film 5 consisting of this is attached to the end face of the frame 1 by means of a double-sided adhesive tape 8. The dimensioning of the film piece 5 ensures that a protruding end piece 9 remains. On the side surface of the scaffold 1, the projecting end piece 9, which is folded over by 180 °, is also fastened by means of a double-sided adhesive tape 8. A second film piece 10 assigned to the access side of the control cabinet lies overlapping on the end piece 8 and is fastened to the side surface of the frame 1 by means of an adhesive tape 11. Depending on the design of a movable wrapping part which closes the front of the control cabinet, the piece of film 10 can cover this wrapping part in whole or in part.
As already mentioned, a film material with a high-frequency conductive coating is particularly suitable for the purposes of the invention. However, plastic films made of electrically conductive plastic are also available, which are thus electrically conductive overall and are therefore to be contacted on both sides by contact with other conductive parts.
In the example according to FIG. 1, it is assumed that foils are available with a width corresponding to the height of conventional control cabinets. If the films are narrower, two or more pieces of film made from them can be used to cover the framework.
Also suitable for the purposes of the invention is a shrinkable finishing of the films. This property enables a certain smoothing and tightening after application of the film pieces to the scaffold by means of adhesive strips by applying heat, whereby the film pieces are brought into contact with the scaffold.
