Hierdurch wird nicht nur die Entstehung von Nebenstrom- rauch weitgehend vermieden, sondern durch eine geänderte Temperaturführung während der Züge kann auch eine bevorzugte Freisetzung von Aromasubstanzen erreicht und die Bildung von reizenden oder unerwünschten Nebenprodukten reduziert werden. Häufig kommen in den vorgeschlagenen Rauchartikeln zur Aerosolbildung statt Tabak Ersatzmaterialien wie spezielle Folientabake oder mit Aromasubstanzen beaufschlagte Trägermaterialien zur Anwendung. So ist ein cigarettenförmiger Rauchartikel bekannt, bei dem die Wärmeenergie eines glimmenden Kohleelements auf eine in Innern der Cigarette angeordnete Aluminiumkapsel übertragen wird, die ein aerosolbildendes Material enthält.To overcome this problem, numerous new smoking articles that do not burn tobacco during train breaks have been proposed.
