Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sports shoe according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the present invention relates to a sports shoe with a foldable undercarriage, the shoe comprising a sole which has a base and a cavity for receiving the foldable undercarriage, which is equipped with a plurality of rollers.
- This sports shoe can therefore be used as a normal shoe as well as a roller skate, i.e. can enter rooms and climb stairs or use suitable surfaces.
- Known sports shoes with this dual function have various shortcomings that lead to an increased risk of accidents.
- Such a sports shoe is described, for example, in German utility model DE-U-29717652.
- This shoe comprises a two-part stiff sole, the lower part of which has a bore on both the heel and toe side, which serves as a pivot bearing and in which a rail equipped with rollers is pivotably mounted.
- the bottom part of this sole is made of a softer material, which should make walking easier.
- CONFIRMATION COPY insufficient The distance between the sole of the shoe and the floor turns out to be insufficient when rolling in a curve.
- the axes of rotation of the rollers in the active position are still within the sole. Since the rollers have relatively small diameters, this construction cannot create a safe ground clearance.
- the rollers wear out very quickly due to their small diameter.
- the aim of the present invention is therefore to provide a sports shoe of the type mentioned, which is equipped with foldable wheels as described above and which on the one hand allows walking comfortably and on the other hand ensures increased safety when rolling.
- the undercarriage comprises a carrier and a rail articulated thereon.
- the carrier in particular a frame, is connected to the sole within the cavity.
- the rail to which the rollers are attached is articulated on the carrier in such a way that the axes of rotation of the rollers lie outside the base of the sole when they are unfolded.
- a locking device is provided with which this rail, respectively. the rollers attached to it, in the folded or unfolded state, are firmly positioned.
- the distance between the floor and the base of the sole plays an important role for safety when cornering. This distance can be increased significantly by attaching the swivel joint that connects the rail to the support frame in such a way that the swivel axis is offset as close as possible to the standing surface and laterally outside the space occupied by the castors when they are unfolded.
- rollers This arrangement also allows the rollers to be replaced easily since they are attached in such a way that their axes of rotation, when folded out, lie outside the base.
- the undercarriage is locked with the help of a pin that is in a guide is mounted in the sole and is inserted into a hole in the chassis.
- this solution does not lead to a firm anchoring between the undercarriage and the sole, ie it allows the undercarriage to float relative to the sole, which does not allow stable and safe rolling and thus also impairs comfort and safety.
- the device for locking the undercarriage according to the invention is mounted on the fixed frame. This lock immobilizes the rail with the rollers in both the folded and unfolded positions.
- the swivel joint and the locking device are each offset from the plane of movement defined by the rollers and lie outside the space occupied by the rollers.
- the locking system is actuated by means of a button which is located at the rear of the heel of the shoe.
- the chassis can be unlocked at an unsuitable moment by an unfortunate impact and, for example, move into its active position or it can fold in while the vehicle is rolling. This increases the risk of accidents.
- the locking device according to the invention has components which are mounted on the frame and connected to the rail, in particular the device according to the invention has an operating handle and a connecting part which connects the locking parts to the operating handle, the Connection part is worked into the upper leather.
- Fig. 1 a side view of the inventive
- FIG. 1 shows a sports shoe 10 with a sole 20 and a running gear fastened in the sole 20, consisting of a frame 12 and a rail 14 hinged to this frame.
- This sports shoe 10 comprises, as can be seen from FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 , an upper leather 16, a shaft 18, a sole 20 and a closing strap 22, as well as complementary locking parts, such as a buckle or a lacing strap, which are not shown in the drawing.
- the sole 20 comprises a rigid plate 24 and an elastic standing part 26, which together form a cavity 28 for receiving the chassis, in which the frame 12 and the rail 14 are installed (FIGS. 2 and 3).
- the bottom surface of the stand section 26 forms a
- the cavity or Recess 28 encloses the rollers 50 and the frame 12 as close as possible, so that the largest possible standing surface 29 is created (FIG. 4).
- the locking band 22 is adjustably fixed at one end to the shaft 18, for example using a
- the frame 12 is made of an elongated light metal part, preferably of an aluminum alloy, and has a base part 30, as well as two paired support elements 32 and 34 and two connecting elements 35, which are connected to the base part 30 and are adjacent to and outside the support elements 34.
- the frame 12 has a swivel joint 36 which stably connects the free ends of the support elements 32 to the rail 14.
- the frame 12 also carries a locking system 38, shown schematically in FIGS. 1 and 3, in order to secure the rail in its folded or unfolded position. This locking system is to be described in more detail in FIG. 5.
- the frame 12 is fixed to the sole 20 via the base part 30 and is securely mounted on the plate 24. Conventional means such as welded connections, screws or castings are used for this.
- the frame disappears completely in the cavity 28.
- the support elements 34 have at their free ends a shoulder 39 which serves as a support for the rail 14.
- the rail 14, which is also made of light metal, in the present example comprises two cross members 44, each with two lateral support elements 46 and 48, which protrude from the cross members.
- the swivel joint 36 is connected to the rail 14 at the point of rotation between the cross member 44 and a lateral support element 46 and can be rotated about the swivel axis 47.
- Each cross member 44 has at its end opposite the swivel joint 36 a projection 49 which extends beyond the lateral support element 48 and can be supported on a shoulder 39.
- the rail 14 is equipped with three rollers 50 which are arranged in a line one behind the other and each of which is mounted on a shaft 52 which has an axis of rotation 53.
- This wave 52 is mounted in the support elements 46 and 48.
- these support elements are provided with cylindrical bores into which screws 54 can be inserted and fastened to the shafts 52 by screwing them in.
- the middle roller is mounted between the two cross members 44.
- the rollers 50 define a movement surface 55 (shown schematically in FIG. 3) that is perpendicular to the axes of rotation 53.
- the pivot axis 47 is laterally offset and outside the space that is occupied by the rollers 50 in the extended position.
- the lock 38, levers 56 and 58 which are rotatably mounted in the frame 12, comprise a spring 60, an operating handle in the form of a ring 62 and a chain 64 which connects the ring 62 to the lever 56 connects.
- the lever 56 consists of a cylindrical fixed rod 66, which is installed in the connecting elements 35 in a freely rotating manner, of a tongue 67, which is fixedly fixed in the central part of the rod 66 and whose free end has a hole through which the chain 64 is introduced.
- the lever 56 has two latches 68, both of which are articulated at one end near the connecting element 35 on the rod 66 and at right angles to the
- Paragraphs 39 stand.
- the distance between the shoulder 39 and the end of the latch 68 corresponds to that of the projection 49, so that the rail 14 is locked when the rollers are in the extended position.
- the latch 68 is connected to the lever 58 by means of a finger 70.
- the lever 58 has a fork 72, in the incision of which the finger 70 is inserted.
- the lever comprises an arm 76, the end 76a of which serves as a latch and allows the rail 14 to be locked when the rollers are in the retracted position (FIG. 5c).
- the spring 60 is clamped between the base part 30 and the arm 76 and holds levers 56 and 58 in their locked position ( Figures 5a and 5c).
- the chain 64 lies in the wall of the upper leather and passes through the plate 24. Its end connected to the ring 62 emerges from the upper leather 16 at a location covered by the locking band 22. The ring 62 is therefore covered while the sports shoe is being worn.
- the rollers 50 can assume two fixed positions; one folded and one unfolded.
- the rail 14 In the folded position, the rail 14 is completely sunk in the cavity 28.
- the cross members 44 are then parallel to the support elements 32, whereas the axes of rotation 53 of the shafts 52 are perpendicular to the standing surface 29.
- the rail 14 is held in this position by the end 76a of the arm 76, which end 76a cooperates with the projection 49.
- the user In order to bring the rollers from the folded into the unfolded position, the user opens the free end of the closing strap 22 and pulls on the ring 62, lifting the shoe.
- the lever 58 rotates and releases the rail 14, which tilts under its own weight until the projection 49 is supported on the shoulder 39.
- the user then releases the ring 62 and the spring 60 returns the levers 56 and 58 to their rest position.
- the latches 68 lock the rail 14 in their unfolded position.
- the roller skate is now ready to drive.
- the arrangement of the swivel joint 36 on the side of the support elements 32 and the arrangement of the locking device 38 on the side of the support elements 34 permit a good position and fixation of the rail 14 on the frame 12, which the
- the screws 54 are easily accessible and can be opened with a key.
- the shaft 52 is thus exposed and can be pulled out of the space between the two support elements 46 and 48 together with the roller 50 in order to be able to replace defective parts, for example.
