Abstract

The present invention relates to a doser device which determines a priori the volume of an alcoholic drink that a person can drink so as not to exceed a given alcoholemia ratio in the blood of said person. The device of the invention comprises a container having a known volume and presenting various graduations: one graduation for the user's weight (expressed in kilograms), one graduation for the volume of the container (expressed in centilitres) and one graduation for the alcohol content of various drinks (expressed in degrees). Said three graduations are set on the container and are connected through lines forming together a reading chart, in order to read the volume variation of the various alcoholic drinks according to the weight and sex of the user, to correspond to the same predetermined alcoholemia percentage. The line of level of the liquid poured into the container is determined simply by observing its crossing with the reading chart. The device of the invention is particularly intended to the preventive control of alcoholemia when driving.

Description

DISPOSITIF D'INDICATION DU RISQUE D'ALCOOLEMIE ALCOHOLIC RISK INDICATION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a device indicating the risk of alcohol level to a user.
Les deux principales raisons sont les suivantes :There are many reasons why a person wants to measure their blood alcohol level or limit it to a predetermined maximum. The two main reasons are:
For the driver's own safety and that of any passengers, as for that of other people he will meet on his way, his driving alcohol level must be limited,
- sur le plan judiciaire, la loi, s'appuyant sur le constat précédent, réglemente le taux d'alcoolémie au volant et prévoit des sanctions pour tout dépassement du taux d'alcoolémie autorisé au volant.- on the judicial level, the law, based on the previous observation, regulates the blood alcohol level while driving and provides for sanctions for any excess of the blood alcohol level authorized while driving.
However, for a precise quantity of alcoholic drink absorbed, it is not yet possible to determine with precision the blood alcohol level of a person, unless it is checked by a breathalyzer or blood test, a posteriori.
The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback by a preventive action. It includes a graduation system which determines, for a given blood alcohol level, the different dosages of corresponding alcoholic beverages, depending on the one hand on the weight and sex of the user and on the other hand the volume and the alcohol content of beverages likely to be consumed. This device is supplemented by various particular equivalence techniques referring to tables, graphs or tables making on the one hand criteria of weight and sex of the user, and on the other hand the volume and the degree of alcohol from different alcoholic beverages. No external reference - calculation or particular table - is required. The present invention will be more precisely appreciated by considering the following revelations and the attached diagrams:
- la figure (1) est une vue d'un plan de face d'une première version de la présente invention, dont le support est un récipient qui se présente ici sous la forme d'un verre de volume connu ;- Figure (1) is a front plan view of a first version of the present invention, the support of which is a container which is here in the form of a glass of known volume;
Referring to Figure (1), the glass (1) is presented with a high open end (2) and a closed low end (3) and parallel walls (4) forming a uniform cross section creating in this a cylinder ( any volume can be envisaged if it can contain a liquid even if its cross section is not uniform, such as a cone for example), in order to receive and retain a desirable quantity of liquid and to dispense it like a glass to drink.
The walls (4) of the glass are transparent so that the liquid poured inside forms a level line which can be seen from the outside of the walls (4).
Indépendamment de la forme du verre (1), des indices et des graduations sont apposés sur les parois (4) :Regardless of the shape of the glass (1), indices and graduations are affixed to the walls (4):
- un indice (5) du sexe d'un usager à qui est destiné le dispositif,- an index (5) of the sex of a user for whom the device is intended,
Des indices et des graduations sont apposés sur la sonde (1) : - un indice (6) précisant le sexe d'un usager à qui est destiné le dispositif,- a reading abacus formed by the lines (9), (10), (1 1) and (12), each corresponding to an alcoholic beverage of known alcohol content (beer at 5 °, wine at 12 ° respectively , an aperitif at 20 ° and a strong alcohol at 40 °) and whose layout allows you to read the variation in the volume of alcoholic beverage, according to the weight and gender of the user, to correspond to the same predetermined blood alcohol level. Referring to Figure (2), the probe (1) is presented in the form of a transparent graduated ruler. Indices and graduations are affixed to the probe (1): - an index (6) specifying the sex of a user for whom the device is intended,
- un indice (7) précisant le poids (exprimé en kilogrammes) d'un usager à qui est destiné le dispositif,- an index (7) specifying the weight (expressed in kilograms) of a user for whom the device is intended,
The probe (1) is intended to be immersed in the glass (2), presented with a high open end (3) and a closed low end (4) and parallel walls (5) forming a uniform cross section creating in this a cylinder (any volume can be considered if it can contain a liquid even if its cross section is not uniform, such as a cone for example), in order to accommodate and retain a desirable quantity of liquid and to dispense it as a glass.
The walls (5) are transparent so that the liquid placed in the glass (2) forms a level line inside which can be seen from the outside of the glass.
The volume of the glass (2) is known to correspond to the indices of the graduations (8) and (9) affixed to the probe (1).
With reference to figures (1) and (2), the level line of the liquid poured into the container is determined simply by observing its crossing with the graduation inscribed on the glass (1) of figure (1) or on the probe ( 1) diving to the bottom of the glass (2) of figure (2), which corresponds to a level of liquid in the container, a blood alcohol level, depending on the sex, the weight of the user and the alcohol content of the drink poured into the glass.
I,For example, in Figure (1), assuming: - that the predetermined blood alcohol level in the graduations of the glass (1) is 0.15 g / I,
- que la boisson versée (A) soit de la bière à 5°,- that the poured drink (A) is beer at 5 °,
- que l'usager du présent dispositif soit un homme pesant 80 Kg, le volume de" bière à 5° équivalent à 0,15 g/1 d'alcoolémie pour cet usager est de 21 cl (ici équivalent au volume de boisson (A) représenté dans la figure (1).- that the user of this device is a man weighing 80 kg, the volume of " beer at 5 ° equivalent to 0.15 g / 1 of blood alcohol level for this user is 21 cl (here equivalent to the volume of drink (A) represented in FIG. (1).
A second example illustrates Figure (2), assuming: - that the predetermined blood alcohol level in the graduations of the probe (1) is 0.15 g / 1,
- que la boisson versée (A) soit de la bière à 5°,- that the poured drink (A) is beer at 5 °,
- que l'usager du présent dispositif soit une femme pesant 60 Kg, le volume de bière à 5° équivalent à 0,15 g/1 d'alcoolémie pour cet usager est de 13,5 cl (ici équivalent au volume de boisson (A) représenté dans la figure (2).- that the user of this device is a woman weighing 60 kg, the volume of beer at 5 ° equivalent to 0.15 g / 1 of blood alcohol level for this user is 13.5 cl (here equivalent to the volume of drink ( A) shown in figure (2).
With reference to Figures (1) and (2), the equivalence in blood alcohol level, of characteristic quantities of alcohol, relates to commonly consumed alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, Champagne, cooked wine, a liqueur, a digestif, an aperitif, ...
Although the list is detailed, it is not exhaustive and the present invention can be adapted to take into account a myriad of other alcoholic beverages and thus target specific consumer groups.
The present invention can be used in a large number of ways by a user. For example, the device of the present invention can be used as a reference table, helping the consumer to make an informed choice of the alcoholic beverages that he is likely to consume, on the basis of a blood alcohol level. As stated, the consumer can then decide, based only on the respective blood alcohol values, which (s) of these alcoholic beverages and in what quantity he will consume. As explained, in employing the present invention for this purpose, no reference need be made to any external table or graph, to assist the consumer in making an informed choice regarding the amount of alcoholic beverage they will consume.
The device according to the invention is particularly intended for simple and preventive management of blood alcohol levels while driving.
