Abstract
A sanitary drain valve actuating Bowden cable consists of a plastic string (10) and of a plastic hose (20). Both elements are provided with union couplings for transmitting the regulating movement from an actuating element (4) to a valve lever (2). The string (10) and its union couplings (12, 13) form a single piece. The string (10) is produced with at least one union coupling (12, 13) made of thermoplastic material in a single injection operation inside a combined injection mold. A union coupling (22, 23) made of the same thermoplastic material as the Bowden cable hose (20) or of a compatible plastic material is injected or glued on the outside of the hose (20). Extraordinarily reliable and resistant unions are thus obtained, as the hermetic enclosure ensures an additional sealing against humidity, steam or corrosive influences. Mounting at the site of use is particularly easy and reliable.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Bowdenzug für die Ventilbetätigung an einem Sanitär-Ablaufventil nach Patentanspruch 1, sowie ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung.The invention relates to a Bowden cable for valve actuation on a sanitary drain valve according to claim 1, and a method for its production.
Mit Bowdenzug ausgerüstete Ventilbetätigungen werden an Sanitär- Ablaufventilen eingesetzt, wie sie z.B. an Spültrögen für Küchen oder Badezimmer Verwendung finden. An solchen Ablaufventilen befindet sich ein Ventilstopfen, der durch ein Hand-Betäti¬ gungselement von einer davon getrennten Armatur aus oder durch einen gesteuerten Hilfsantrieb betätigt wird. Der zur Ueber- tragung der Stell-Bewegung verwendete Bowdenzug ermöglicht auf vorteilhafte Weise die universelle Montage der Ventile. Unter¬ stützt durch geeignete Befestigungsmittel sind bekannte Ventile z.B. zum Einbau in Blechtrögen mit Wandstärken von 1 bis 3 Millimeter wie auch in Steinkombinationen mit Wandstärken von z.B. 20 Millimeter vorbereitet. Herkömmliche Bowdenzuge sind für den geschilderten Einsatz je¬ doch nur bedingt brauchbar, da ihre Handhabung nicht genügend an die besonderen Gegebenheiten während der Montage der Ab¬ laufventile und der Armaturen angepasst ist. Ferner haben sich die konventionellen Bowdenzuge im späteren Gebrauch oftmals als zu wenig robust erwiesen, insbesondere unter dem Einfluss von Kalkablagerungen.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, den Bowdenzug für die Ventilbetätigung an einem Sanitär-Ablaufventil so zu ver¬ bessern bzw. anzupassen, dass eine einfache, universelle Mon¬ tage für die verschiedenen Einbaumöglichkeiten von Ablauf¬ ventilen gewährleistet ist. Ferner soll der Bowdenzug besonders robust und im späteren Gebrauch wenig störanfällig sein. Die Herstellung soll mit bewährten und vorhandenen Produktions¬ mitteln auf einfache und kostengünstige Weise erfolgen. Die hermetische Umschliessung bildet auf vorteilhafte Weise zusätz¬ lich eine Abdichtung gegen Feuchtigkeit, Dampf oder korrosive Einflüsse. Die in der Figur dargestellten Halbschnitte zeigen links die Posi¬ tion für das geöffnete und rechts für das geschlossenen Ventil. Beide Anschlusselemente 12, 13 sind vorzugsweise zusammen mit der Saite 10 aus einem Stück vom gleichen Material und an der Saite 10 direkt angeformt, entsprechend der Aus¬ bildung der für den Herstellungsprozess verwendeten Spritzform. Es kann aber auch nur eines der Anschlusselemente direkt an der Saite 10 angeformt sein, wenn die konstruktiven Umstände dies erfordern. Die Grundformen der Anschlusselemente sind-ent¬ sprechend einfach gehalten, so dass der Spritzvorgang mit ein¬ fachen Mitteln und ohne Schwierigkeiten erfolgen kann. Vor¬ zugsweise erfolgt der Spritzvorgang für die Saite 10 und ihre
