Abstract

The structure of the display panel is comprised of a frame (1) provided with wheels (2) rolling on rails (3) and wherein is mounted, with the possibility of regulating the inclination, a structure comprised of two side plates (4) and wherein are set two guiding rollers (18) for a laminar body (17) carrying different information, and two rollers (21) for rolling/unrolling said laminar body (17), said rollers being actuated by respective electric motors (22-22') which, appropriately controlled by a computer program, allow to change the information provided by the panel after appropriately predetermined display periods of time.

PANEL OF DISPLAY OF INFORMATION SUCH AS ADVERTISING MESSAGES

D E S C R I P C I Ó N

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a panel that has been specially designed for the display of information, such as advertising messages with the particular feature that said messages can be changeable, such as by suitable electronic programming, for the purpose of Over a certain period of time, such as during a sporting event, the advertising that appears on a certain panel may change once or several times and, consequently, there may be several advertisers who make use of the panel in question.

Obviously the panel that is recommended is also usable in the display of any other type of information that requires similar benefits.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The applicant himself is currently in a position to initiate the procedures to register in his name a plurality of Patents emanating from an application filed in France in 1984_ It describes and claims a system for displaying information such as, for example, advertising messages. rivers, specially designed to be put into practice in sports events, such as in fields football, basketball or others, demonstrations that are broadcast on at least one television channel and in which a certain number of panels participate as display elements, conveniently arranged P * _s - ^{ra t} 3 ^{ue that} are captured by the cameras.

More specifically, each camera has an element that is sensitive to a visual indicator established in each of the exhibition panels, so that by means of appropriate means the time of permanence in image of each panel is controlled, which allows establishing costs of advertising that are really adjusted to the permanence time of the ads on the screen, or to establish said times in advance, so that when a certain advertisement or message established in the corresponding panel or group of panels has already appeared on the screen the contracted time, the change of message occurs in said panel or group of display panels.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The display panel of information such as advertising messages proposed by the invention is especially suitable for the implementation of the display system referred to in the previous paragraph, although obviously said panel is also usable in display systems in the that the times of permanence of the information in the panels are contracted based on the real time of permanence in such panels and not based on the time of appearance on the screens of the televisions connected to the television network or chains that are retransmitting the event. More generally, the panel that is recommended is usable in any practical circumstance in which you want to offer information that changes over time.

In the aforementioned frame and specifically between the pair of end plates, four rollers are established, two of them provided with free rotation and the other two motorized, the two imaginary free rollers occupying the imaginary upper and lower frontal edges of the panel and among which the operating sector of a laminar body that is the carrier of the information will be established, while the motorized rollers, which obviously rotate in opposite directions, are set aside for the winding and unwinding of said laminar body.

However, and in accordance with an embodiment variant of the invention, the possibility is provided that each module incorporates the corresponding drive motors housed therein, in which case said motors will not be axially coupled to the winding rollers, but through pulleys and drive belts.

According to another feature of the invention, the frame is pivotally mounted on the base frame and provided with locking means with multiple positions, in order to achieve that the front face of said frame, in which the operating sector is established of the continuous laminar body carrying the information, it can adopt a vertical positioning or an inclined positioning with several inclination possibilities.

As it is also evident, the structuring described is complemented by an electronic circuit governed by a microprocessor, through which the moments of change in the information supplied by the panel and the motor drive in one direction and another are established and during the time need- εario for the change of information occurs within the multiple information may be stored in a single panel, although obviously said microprocessor can be replaced by a manual remote control or any other means acting both ^'üirecta entity on own module as remote.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of these figures, it can be seen how the information display panel that is recommended is structured from a frame (1) provided with wheels (2), perimetrically grooved, for its movement on rails (3), in which a plurality of panels must be established in longitudinal alignment and duly inter-coupled, the frame (1) constituting the support structure for a frame based on a pair of lateral plates (4) stiffened by a plurality of cross-members (5) , which are fixed at their ends and in coplanar arrangement to the front edge of the plates (4), specifically by screwing through holes (6) operatively made in said plates, this frame being complemented with a post-upper reinforcement (7), which is also established between the plates (6) and that incorporates a platform (8) where the electrical and electronic components of the panel are located, which will be referred to later.

The aforementioned frame is mounted tilting on the frame (1), for which purpose it incorporates, conveniently in solidarity with one of its ends, a sector (9) provided with a teeth (10) in which selectively a bolt (11) mounted on the box (12) which in turn is fixed to one of the ends of the frame (7), the which, together with the rest of the frame, is pivotally mounted on the frame (1), specifically through the bearings (13).

To the crossbars (5) a rectangular sheet (1) is fixed frontally, immediately in front of which a padded body (15) is established, with the same rectangular contour, and in front of it a plastic sheet (16), also with the same rectangular configuration and the latter corresponding to what must be the operating surface of the panel, in front of which a sheet body (17), carrying the information, conveniently guided by a pair of rollers ("slide") 18-18 '), mounted with freedom of rotation on the ends of the front edge of the plates (4), specifically on the holes (19) and with the collaboration of the axle screws (20), laminar body (17) that at its ends it is wound on respective rollers (21-21 ') that are fixed to one of the end plates (4) of the frame, cantilevered towards the outside of the panel, as can be seen especially in Figure 2 and these being motors (22-22 ') properly synchronized so that in the same magnitude in which the unrolling of the laminar body (17) in one of the rollers (21) occurs, the winding of the same in the other, or vice versa.

Each end plate (4) of the frame, in addition to incorporating a pair of anchoring connections (23-23 ') for said motors (22-22'), with the collaboration of respective supports (24-24 '), presents such embuticiones (23-23 ') out of phase both vertically as transversely, and also incorporates a wide hole (25) and a wide neckline (26) which in turn are outdated with respect to the drawing

The aforementioned motors (22), with their wiring (27) are governed jointly for each and every one of the modules from a main government cabinet not represented in the drawings, through several secondary cabinets, by means of a computer program. ¬ set in the corresponding microprocessor, which sends the corresponding signals to an electronic box or box (28) established on the platform (8), with which a power transformer (29), stabilizers or any other appropriate element for ensure optimum conditions in the power supply, and the corresponding terminals (30) for connection to the motors.

In accordance with this structuring, as previously stated and whenever it is necessary to change the message or information offered by the panel, the appropriate government signals will arrive to the electronic box (28) to act on the engines (22-22 ') causing the partial unrolling of the laminar body (17) of one of the rollers (21) and its simultaneous winding in the other roller, in the magnitude necessary for a new sector of the panel to appear in the front area of the panel It was lamir. _r corresponding to the new information. Independently in this practical embodiment of Figures 5 and 6, it is provided that the guide rollers (18-18 ') for the laminar body (17) carrying the information are considerably outdated in order to be established for the operating sector of said laminar body (17) a notable inclination upwards and backwards, permanently, without resorting to a tilting in this sense of the entire module or display panel, as in the case of figures 1 to 4 , but without obviously these details being significant or significantly affecting the essence of the invention.

It is also provided, in this variant embodiment, that the upper (31) and rear (32) covers materialize in a single, sharply inclined lid (38), the module adopting a trapecial profile but tending to the triangle, as observed especially in figure 6, for which and as also seen in said figure, it is necessary that the winding roller (21), located at a higher level, adopts a position considerably lower than in the previous case rior and, in addition, a displacement towards the front wall of the module.

Likewise, it should be noted that in the structure of the type shown in figures 5 and 6 there is an electric battery pack, installed inside each module, capable of providing autonomy, as to electric power That is, with the provision of such battery equipment, the need to connect to a power grid outside the assembly can be avoided.

It is not considered necessary to make this description more extensive so that any person skilled in the art understands the scope of the invention and the advantages derived therefrom.

The materials, shape, size and arrangement of the elements will be susceptible to variation, as long as this does not imply an alteration to the essentiality of the invention.

The terms in which this memorandum has been described should always be taken in a broad and non-limiting sense.
