Abstract

Un turbocompresseur à suralimentation comprend un arbre rotatif soutenu à l'intérieur du carter central (14) du turbocompresseur par des roulements à éléments rotatifs. La cartouche du roulement est axialement positionnée dans le carter (14) par une goupille (72) qui traverse des orifices percés dans le carter central (14) et dans l'anneau extérieur (52) du roulement. La goupille est relativement lisse, de sorte que des excursions de l'ensemble de cartouche de roulement (24) avec l'arbre (26) sont possibles lorsque l'arbre accélère à des vitesses critiques de rotation. Ces excursions sont amorties par du fluide lubrifiant transmis à des rainures à la circonférence de l'anneau extérieur du roulement par des passages de lubrification (82, 84) qui traversent la goupille. Le fluide lubrifiant dans les rainures parvient à l'espace interstitiel défini entre l'anneau extérieur (52) de l'ensemble de cartouche de roulement et le carter central (14), de manière à amortir les excursions de l'ensemble de cartouche de roulement (24).
