Abstract

This invention relates to a seizing-hardenable steel sheet of a composition essentially comprising, by weight, 0.0010 to 0.0030 % of carbon, 0.04 to 0.30 % of manganese, 0.04 to 0.20 % of phosphorus, 0.003 to 0.015 % of sulfur, at most 0.15 % of soluble aluminium, at most 0.0020 % of nitrogen and 0.003 to 0.025 % of titanium, provided that 48/14N « Ti « 48/14N + 48/32S, and, if necessary, niobium and/or vanadium, and furthermore boron, the balance being iron and unavoidable impurities, and to method for producing same.
