PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR AN INK BOTTLE Application January 18, 1936, Serial No. 60,650

Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:

Be is known that I, John J. Newman, a citizen of the United States and. a resident of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Ink Bottle, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is an elevational view of an ink bottle, showing my new design;

Figure 2 is a vertical medial section of the ink bottle shown in Figure 1, and

Figure 3 is a sectional view on the line 3-3 of Figure 1. l

The characteristic features of my design reside in the contours of the cavity within the bottle, comprising a cylindrical neck portion and a lower portion tapering to substantially a point, the taper taking place according to a continuous curve. Due to the fact that the ink bottle is of glass the contours of the interior cavity are visib1e from the outside of the bottle as shown in Figure 1.
