DESIGN FOR CARPET.

Specieation forming part of Design No. 9,543, dated October 3, 1876 application filed September 15, 1876. [Term of Patent 3% years] To all whom it 'may concern:

Be it known that I, HENRY HORAN, of East Orange, Essex county, and State of New Jersey, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to he Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photo graphs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a defined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and are suiicient to enable any one skilled in the art of carliet-weaving to use my invention.

What l claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The conguration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specication.
