Be it known that I, GEORGE G. RICHMOND, of Providence, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have invented a Design for a Portable Cooking Range or Stove, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographie illustration, to which reference is made, in which- A is the body of the said Cooking range or stove. T is the top plate, and H the hearthplate, all of which are roundeornered and ornamented with a molding, m, composed of a rounded surface, r, Within a boundary on each side of angular surfaces d d. The body has also a molding, F, around it near the top, between Whieh and the top are ornamental figures of double crosses E E, &e., in elevated groups, as shown. The doors D are roundeornered, ornamented with a mass of cross- Work, C, Within a diamond border, G, with a frame-Work of interseetin g squares or diamonds at the lower corners and center e e e, and of intersecting V-eurves at the upper corners and center c u o, all surrounded by ornamental moldings in relief at the edge or margin of the door. rIhe handle J of the door makes a cross with its shaft B, and is ornamented with crosses in relief on its front. The legs L are ornamented with the intersecting V-eurves in relief, with a bulb, I, and border in relief. The panel-work K is like that of the doors, Within which the designating-name may be placed.

I Claim- 1. The combination of the ornaments E and F near the top of the body of the range or stove, as shown and described.

2. The design fora stove-door, having panel ornaments C C, G, e e e, and `n n e, subst-antially as shown and described.

3. The design for a stove-leg, composed of intersecting Curves V, forming a border, and surrounding the bulb I, all in relief, substantially as shown and described.

4. The design for a stove-door handle, J, making a cross with its shaft B, and ornamented on its front with crosses in relief, substantially as set forth.
