Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. SMITH, of Enfield, Hartford county and State of Connectient, have invented or produced a newr and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwronght into lngrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this speeiication, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weavin g, a defined and thorough de- WILLIAM H.
