DESIGN FOR CARPET.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,563, dated April 8, 1873; application filed April 1,1873.
To all whom it may concern:
lie it known that I, JOSEPH M. CHRISTIE, of England, now residing in the city of Brooklyn, countyol' Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original De sign for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Two or Three Ply, lngrein, and other Carpeting in such colors as may be desired; and 1 do hereby declare that the photographic printaccompanying this specification does give and con vey to any one skilled in the art of carpetwezwin g a. more definite and thorough description of the nature of my invention than it is in the power of language otherwise to convey,
and it is suliicient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention. Claim.
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The configuration of the design hereunto nunexed, when made by being innronght into two or three ply, ingrain, or other cnrpetin g in the form similar to the photographic print accompanying this specification.
