DESIGN FOR A CARPET-PATTERN.

Specification forming part of Design No. 5,850, dated May 14, 1872.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1,()T'ro HEINIGKE, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented or produced anew and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwronght into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors simiiar to those painted on the drawing or photograph aecompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawing or photograph herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawing accompanying this specification does give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a de fined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and is sniiicent to enable any one skiiled in the art of carpetiveaving to use my invention.

That I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting in the form similar to the drawing or photograph accompanying this specification.
