DESIGN FOR A HEAD OF HOTEL-REGISTER STANDS.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EMMET MILLER, a citien of the United States, residing at Oklahoma, in the county of Oklahoma and State of Oklahoma, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for the Heads of Hotel-Register Stands,-of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Figure 1 is a rear edge view of the head of the stand. Fig. 2 is a plan view thereof, showing my new design.

The design consists in forming the head of greater thickness in the middle and curved or receding to thinner portions at each end. Said head is likewise of greater width in the middle and is curved down to narrower parts at each end, the corners of the upper edge at the extreme ends of said head being also Specification for Design.

Application filed July 31, 1908. Serial No. 446,348. Term of patent 7 years.

rounded. Two openings are provided in the upper surface of the head in the wider portion thereof and equidistant from the vertical median line. These openings are intended to hold ink wells or cups for matches or tooth picks. Between said openings and also in the upper surface of the head there is formed a long groove to receive pencils or pens. A portion of the upper corner of the lower edge of the head is beveled OK or re cessed for securing a plate bearing the name of the hotel.

The ornamental design for the head of a hotel register stand as shown.
