DESIGN FOR CLOCK-FRONT.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part nf the same To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, NICHOLAS MLLER, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and ornamental Design for a, Clock-Front; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the seme, reference being had to the accompanying photograph forming part of this specification, in which the design is represented by a. front view.
This invention relates to a design for a clock-front.
For convenience in description it may be divided into two parts, a a the upper and l1 b the lower one.
The principal feature ot' the part b b consists in a. crowned female head, c, situated near the bottom edge, the neck being covered by an ornamental cloth, the ends of which continue toward the sides of the bottom, which are formed by large arabesques, e, :is shown in the photograph.
Beneath the head c, connecting the two side arabesques e,|is an ornamented bar, which forms the bottom edge.
The background is embellished by ornaments in relief.
The part a a contains the dial-hole d, with ara.- besques on each of its sides. Above it (the dial-hole) is an ornaniented arch, surmounted by a. scroll, twigs of fruit, and leaves emanating from it, forming the top edge of the design, as seen in the photograph.
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a clock-front, as herein shown and described.
