DESIGN FOR A TACK-HEAD.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part o! the same,

To all lwhom it may concern:

Be it. known that I, ORIN L. BAssE'rT, of Taunton` county of Bristol, and State of Massachusetts, have invented a. new and original Design for a Tack- Head; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the saine, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification.

The figure is a perspective view of a tack illustrating my design.

My invention has for its object to furnish an improved design for the heads of tacks, shoe-nails, 85e; und

It consists in the design herein shown and described.

C is the body ofthe tack, which may he made with a tack-point or a. nail-point, according to the purpose for which it is to be used.

D is the head, which is made circular in its general form, and the upper surface of' which is struck up into the form ol'zi series of six segments of an angular pyramid, laid apex to apex around tho entre ofthe hond, as shown in the figure.
