To all whom fit may concern:

4Be it known that I, WILLIAM SCHWAB, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Knitted Gap; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable those skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this speciiication.

The drawing represents a side view of my cap.

This design relates to a knitted cap, composed of a tubular neck and shoulder-piece, and curved headpiece, with an openingfor the eyes and other parts of the face, the whole being ornamented by a border round the edge of the opening for the face, and also round the bottom edge of the tubular neck and shou1- der-piece.
