DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,321, dated May 12, 1903.
Application filed April 10, 1903. Serial No. 152,083. Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, AUGUSTUS F. HAETER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Ohicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, haveinvented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Cooking-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The figure is a perspective view of a cooking-stove, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, my design consists in providing on the outer surface of the legs raised and depressed portions, imparting the appearance thereto shown in the drawing, and in providing on the downwardly-extending flange extending around the stove and uniting the legs a series of scrolls. The
vertical exterior surface of the stove below the horizontal cooking-surface is ornamented by raised and depressed portions arranged in the mannershown in the drawing. The front surface of the vertical back of the stove which rises above the horizontal cooking-surface is ornamented to correspond in character to the ornamentation on the vertical surface below the horizontal cooking-surface. Above the shaft at the top of the vertical back portion of the stove is a casting ornamented as shown.
