HENRY A. WEIHMAN, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, ASSIGNOR TO JOHN F. SIMONS AND THOMAS MADDOOK, OE SAME PLACE; FREDERICK M. SIMONS, OF SWARTHMORE, PENNSYLVANIA, AND EDWVIN S. SIMONS, OF ORANGE, NEW JERSEY, (TRADING AS SIMONS BRO. & 00. AT PHILA- 'DELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA.)
DESIGN FOR A KEY-RING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,370, dated April 16, 1901.
Application filed December 22, 1900. Serial No- 40,824. Term of patent 3 years.
To ctZZ whom it may concern/.-
Be it known that I, HENRY A. WEIHMAN, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, have invented an Improvement in Key-Rings, of which the following is a specification.
My design for key-rings is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a front view. Fig. 2 is a back view, and Fig. 3 is an edge view.
The design consists, essentially, of the part A, representing an animal, more particularly shown as a monkey in sitting posture, and the long cylindrical curved part B, projecting from one end of the animal part A and leading to the other end thereof, curved at the top at C, so as to project inwardly toward the said portion A, this cylindrical curved portion B being more particularly a representation of the tail of the monkey. One of the ends of the portion B isintegrally connected with the said portion A and the other end resting against the said part, as at D, but so as not to be integral with it.
The essential characteristic of the design is in the main part A, representing the body of an animal, combined with a long slender cylindrical curved portion B, located to one side of the said portion A and communicating therewith at its two ends.
Having now described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a key-ring herein described and shown. y
In testimony of which invention I have hereunto set my hand.
HENRY A. WEIHMAN.
