DESIGN FOR A NUT-LOCK WASHER.

To all whom t may concern,.-

Be it known that l, ALBERT H. MoALLIsTER, a citizen ofthe United States, residing at New Albany, in the count;Y of Union and Sta-te of Mississippi, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Nut-Lock Washer, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

Figure l shows one of the broader faces of the nut-lock washer. Fig. 2 is a section on the line 2 2, Fig. l.

The configuration or outline ofthe nut-look washer, as seen in the two views, constitutes the leading or material feature of my novel design.

As appears from Fig. l, the nut-lock washer is in outline a quadrilatcral having its base longer than the side opposite the base and having a large perforation A, approximately equidistant from the base H and the sides C l) adjacent to the base. That part E above the line F, approximately parallel to the base, is inclined from the plane passing through said base and line I1, and the middle portion of the part between the base and line F is bent in the saine direction from said plane, as clearly appears in Fig. 2, so that the part closely adjacent to the perforation is at some distance from said plane.
