DESIGN FOR A DISH OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,871, dated June 26, 1900. Application fllad May 31, 1900. Serial No. 18,686. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, CHARLES EDWARD HAVI- LAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Limoges, in the Republic of France, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Dish or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, and in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of a dish hear ing and incorporating my design, and Fig. 2 is a horizontal section of same on the dotted line 2 2 of Fig.1.
The leading features of my design consist of the shape of the body of the dish and the ornamental configuration thereon, substantially as shown.
In the drawings, A designates the body of the dish, which body has the downwardly and then inwardly extending surfaces, lettered ll C, respectively, the surfaces C merging into the ornate scroll-base D, which bears along its scalloped edges the ornate scroll configuration E. The upper edges of the body A are scalloped, as at I and upon their outer surfaces said edges bear the ornate scalloped scroll configuration G, at the points intermediate the main scallops of which are the downwardly-extending depressed surfaces or grooves H.
What I claim is-' The design for a dish orsimilar article, substantially as shown and described.
