SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,786, dated .iun 5, 1900.
Application filed May 3, 1900. Serial No. 151416- Term of patent 3% years.
To (oil whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, CLEM G. MOORE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Orawfordville, in the county of 'Ialiaferro and State of Georgia, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for a Cutter and Cleaner for Green Corn; and I do doclare the following to he a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
The invention relates to a new and original design for a cutter and cleaner for green corn to be used in pulling the husks from the corn, brushing the silk from the crevices between the rows, gouging ont worm-eaten places, and cutting the corn from the cob.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure l is a perspective view of my design. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view.
The leading feature of the design comprises a hollow shell 1, the ends of which taper in opposite directions and one end of which is provided with cutting edges 2, a tapering point 3, and a cutter 4, while the other is provided with a brush-stock 5.
What I claim is- The design for a cutter and cleaner for green corn, as herein shown and described.
