DESIGN FOR A BATH-TUB.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,713, dated May 22, 1900.
Application filed April 21, 1900. Serial No. 13,813. Term of patent '7 years.
To all 2072,0121, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, WILLIAM J. J. BOWMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Trenton, in the county of Mercer and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bath- Tub, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which- Figure 1 is a plan, and Fig. 2 an elevation, of the bath-tub, showing my design; and Fig. 3 is a sectional View taken on the line so a of Fig. l.
The general configuration of the bathtub is elliptical, and, as shown in the drawings, the leading features consist in the molded rim and base and the intermediate convex up-' wardly-flaring sides.

The design of the molded base comprises the rib d with a vertical face, the coves 2 3,
the convex rib e, and the bead e. 25 The bottom of the bath-tub is fiat, serving as a support, and the bath-tub of elliptical outline is designed to be detached from its surroundings.
