DESIGN FOR A CORNER-BRACKET FOR BEDSTEADS.
SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design N 0. 32,168, dated January 30, 1900. Application filed January 6, 1900. Serial No. 62?. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SAMUEL L. IIAINES, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Corner-Bracket for Bedsteads, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of the invention.
This invention relates to a design for a corner-bracket for bedsteads, adapted for usein securing the corner-posts and side rails of a bedstead together.
In the accompanying drawing my new design is illustrated in perspective.
The leading feature of my design consists ofa tubular sleeve A, having projecting from one side thereof, adjacent its upper end, the two ears (1- c, disposed at substantially right angles to the sleeve, the said ears being connected by the pin a, and the two ears I) b,
similarly disposed, adjacent the lower end of the said sleeve A and arranged in line with the ears o (2 said ears 0 I) being connected by the pin (2, as shown in the drawing.
Extending around the sleeve A, about centrally of the projecting ears o a and b Z1, are the beads or ribs a and b respeetively,while in the center of the said sleeve is an annular head or rib c, all arranged substantially as illustrated.
Having thus described my inventiomwhat I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patout, is-
The design for a corner-bracket for bedsteads, substantially as herein shown and described.
