DESIGN FOR A SIGN-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31.832, dated November 14, 1899. Application filed Gcteber 19, 1899. Serial No. 734,129. Term of patent 7 years To all 1072,0112, it nut concern.-
Be it known that I, JACOB Marion's, a citizen of the United States, residing at Philadelphia,in the county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Sign-Plate or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, in which- Figure 1 is a face view of a sign-plate hearing and incorporating my design, and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same.
The leading feature of my design consists of the clouded ornamentation in portions of the main face of the substantially flat plate and the border ornamentation along thecnter portions of the face of the plate, substantially as shown in the drawings In the drawings, A designates the plate, which has a substantially fiat face, as shown in Fig. 2, and which face, as illustrated in Fig. 1, bears the ornamental clouds O C in portions thereof extending in irregular ontiine from a point 0' on the border to a point 0 on the adjacent border, and the ornamental border 13, composed of lines in representation of ribbon.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a sign-plate or similar article, substantially as shown and described.
