To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMES H. MCCRACKEN, of the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented a new and original Design for a (Jorner-Bead, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a view in perspective of my corher-bead. Fig. 2 is a transverse sectional view thereof.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a single sheet or plate of material bent at its center so as to form the continuous bead or head 1, which is segmental in cross-section, and from the ends of said bead or head the sheet or plate of material is bent inwardly until the two portions meet at a point beneath the center of the head or head 1, and from thence the ends of the sheet or plate are extended outwardly at right angles to each other, as indicated by 2. Formed in the portion of the sheet or plate immediately beneath the ends of the bead or head are the slots or apertures 3, and formed in the extreme lower edges of the end portions 2 are the apertures 4.
I claim The design for a corner-bead, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aiiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
