DESIGN FOR A CHILDS NAPKIN.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,778, dated May 31, 1898.
Application filed June 11, 1897. Serial No. 640,387. Term of patent 14 years.
To aZZ whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, ELLA MATILDA YAR- RINGTON and THOMAS HALL, citizens of the United E .ttes, residing at New York city, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Ohilds Napkin, of which the following is specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the drawings, Figure 1 shows the napkin in sidle. Wation. Fig. 2 is a front view of the same, and Fig. 3 is a top view.
The leading feature of our invention consists in the shape or configuration of the article-namely, the approximate V shape in front elevation and the continuous curved line shown in the side elevation forming the outline of the article.
As shown in Fig. 2, there is a pendent portion A of V shape, the walls of which rise at an angle, these Walls being pierced with limbopenings E E. The upper part of the napkin is approximately round in plan view, as shown in Fig. 3, and there is a curvature from this waist portion B D down to the V portion. The napkin in side elevation, as shown in Fig. 1, presents an outline of a continuous curve from waistline to waist-line, as indicated by the position of the lines D, A, and C.
\Vhat we claim is The design for a childs napkin as herein shown and described.
