DESIGN FOR A SHOE-FORM.
SPECIFICATION forming part 0f Design NO. 27,902, dated November 23, 1897.
Application filed September 2, 1897. Serial No. 650,405. Term of patent 'i' years.
To all whom it 'may concern:
Be it known that I, ABEL D. TYLER, Jr., of Brockton, in the county of Plymouth and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new, useful, and original Design for Shoe-Forms, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof.
My design consists, essentially, of a shoeform having a curved instep-horn with a con- Vex upper forward face, the form being recessed from above downwardly and forwardly beneath and in rear of said horn, forming a comparatively thin portion between the base of the said instep-horn and the heel portion of the form, the bottom line of said recess curving upwardly in the heel portion to the top of the heel enlargement near the rear end of the form, and an upright extending upwardly from said curved portion of the recess in the heel of the form, as shown in the accompanying drawings, wherein- Figure 1 represents a top plan View of a last, showing my design and Fig. 2 represents a side elevation of the saine with the vampbloek and heel part in extended position.
A represents the vamp-block, and a the instep-horn.
a represents the thin portion between the vamp portion and the heel portion.
B represents the quarter-block or heel portion having heel enlargement b, and b' represents the upright extending upwardly from the oonoaved forward portion of the heel.
XVhat I claim is- The design for ashoe-form, substantially as herein shown and described.
