DESIGN FOR A BELT.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,689, dated September 28, 1897. Application filed June 21,1897. Serial No. 641,720. Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom, it may concern.-

Be it known that I, LOUIS SANDERS, a citizen of the United States, residing in Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Belts, of which the following is a, specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, which represents a perspective View of a belt embodying the features of my I design.

The feature of the design consists of a horizontal chain A of loops B, which appear upon the inner face of the belt 0. The open portions of alternate loops face in opposite directions, the open portion of one loop facing up i wardly and the open portion of the next loop 1 faciugin adownwardlydirection. The bodies 0f the loops are approximately circular, and l the open mouth portion of one loop forms a portion of the body of a loop upon either side. he horizontal chain of loops appears as attached at its ends to the belt.
