Be it known that I, JosErn HUMGARDXEH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Wilmot, in the county of Stark and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Arterial Tubes, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a side elevation showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken on line I :c, Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a tube provided with tapered portions and a portion of the periphery of said tube milled or provided with grooves or corrugations.
In the accompanying drawings, A represents the tube proper, one end of which is provided with the frustum-shaped portion a. At a short distance from the frustuin portion (t is located the enlarged spherical portion b, adjacent to which is the cylindrical portion 0, upon which cylindrical portion is formed for a short distance thereon the milled or ribbed portion (I, said milled or ribbed portion being formed at the end of the cylindrical portion c, as illustrated in the drawings. Adjacent to the milled portion (Z is the short cylindrical portion (1, adjacent to which is the long tapered portion (Z which is provided a short distance from its end with the enlarged portion 6, which portion is tapered and terminates in a blunt or rounded end f. Intersecting the milled or ribbed portion (1 are the parallel grooves g, which parallel grooves cross the grooves d at right angles, as illus trated in Fig. 1.
