TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, WILLIAM W. REYNOLDS, of Brandon, in the county of Katie nd, and State of Vermont, have invented a new and original Design for Post-Ofiice Balance; and Ido hereby declare that the following is a. full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in'the art to make and use the same, reference being had to-the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification.

This invention relates to a new and original design. for a post-oflice balance, which is illustrated in the accompanying sheet of drawings by an elevation, as shown in Figure 1, and by a vertical section, as shown in Figure 2, w 2:, fig. 1, being the line of section.

The standard or support of the scales has its body or main portion A, of slightly conical form, with a base, B, composed of a cyma rcversa, at, having a fillet, b, at its upper and lower edge. The cap 0 is composed of a cyma recta, c, fillet, d, and a torus, e. The beam and counterpoise do not form any part of the design.

Having thus described my invent-ion, I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a post-office balance, substantially as shown and described.
