TO ALL WIIOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, ISAAC A. SHEPPARD, of Philadelphia, county of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania, have invented or produced a. new and original Design for the Plates of the Myrtle Heating-Stove; and I do hereby declare that the accompanying drawing and thefollowing explanation thereof form a full, clear,

and exact description of the said design. In the accompanying drawing- Figure 1 is an exterior elevation of the Myrtle heatingstove. Figure 2, an exterior view of some of the plates; and Figure 3, a pla-n view of the cap-plate.

A is the base, B the cylinder, and C the cap of the stove, which is supported by feet D, secured to the base. On each of the feet, at the edge of which is a plain beading, is an ornament representing a sprig. The lower base-plate is bordered by a plain beading. At the edge of the upper base-plate is a. series of sprigs, and on the sides of the base are ornamental figures c, of the form shown in the drawing. The door frame E is bordered by a pl'ain beading, and by the ornamental {gures shown. 0n the edge of the door is a series oi' leaves, and in the centre of the door are scrolls with figures 1867. On the cap-plate are two annular headings ef, the former enclosing a. series of figures of the character shown in fig. 3, and between the two headings is a. wreath of leaves. At the edge of this plate is a. series of sprigs.

I claim the design for the plates of the Myx-de" heating-stove, substantially as shown in and by the accompanying drawing.
