DESIGN FOR A SNAP-HOOK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,109, dated September 29, 1896.
Application filed August 1'7, 1896. Serial No. 603,087. Term of patent 14 years.
To 13 whom it may concern..-
lie it known that I, JOHN H. FITCH, of New llaven, in the county of New I laven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Snap-Hooks; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accom panyi ng drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to he a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute part of this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1, a plan view of a snap-hook eoniaining myimproved design; Fig. 2,:1 reverse plan view thereof.
My invention relaies 10 a design for snaphooks; and the design consists in the configuration and ornamentation as herein shown and described.
As herein shown, my newly-designed snaphook consists in a hook A, a shank B, and an eye the juncture of the shank B and eye U being ornamented by raised leaf-like extensions l) 1), starting from the upper face of the shank and curving outward onto the upper face of lhe inner bar of the eye (3, and by similar raised leaf-like extensions 1) D, starting from the lower face of the shank and curving outward onto the lower face of the inner bar of the eye, all as shown in the aceompanying illustrations.
I claim The design for snap-hooks as herein deseri bed, and shown i n the accompanying illustrations.
