DESIGN FOR A LAMP-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,396, dated April 14, 1896. Application filed May 4. 1893. Serial No. 473,022. Term of patent 7 years.

lie it known that I, FRANK E. BROWNE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Los Angeles, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented and produced a new, useful, and original Design for Lamp-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which illustrate my design.
Figure 1 is a perspective front View of the stove which embodies my design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
The characteristic features of my design for a lamp-stove consist in the lamp-stand made up of the base-plate A, having a lampscat a" and hand-holes a' a' at opposite sides of the lamp-seat a", arranged opening into such lan1p-seat, and having rounded and downwardly and outwardly flaring sides ornamented with scrollwork a, and the reversel)T curved legs A', having their upper portions rounded and curved to correspond with the downwardly-flaring corners of the sides of the base-plate and forming therewith a symmetrical ontwardly-rounded curve, the stovebody comprising the semicylindrcal wall B, provided with side handles D D' at the top of the wall at opposite sides of the body, and thc stove-top, comprising the circular unornaniented donicd top piece or spun plate C, having an ogee outline c, and the closed ornanicntcd urn C', sui-mounting the plate C. rlhe wall I3 is semicylindrieal throughout its entire length from the base-plate A to the top piece C. The top piece is circular and terminates flush with the wall.
The characteristic features of the particular designY for a stove-top consist in the unornaniented domed top piece or spun plate C, having an ogee outline c, in which there is a single offset c', and the closed ornamented u rn C', snrmounting the plate C.
The characteristic features of the particular design for the base-plate consist in thc hand-holes a' c' at opposite sides of and opening into the lamp-seat a".
The characteristic features of the particular design for the stove-body consist in the Wall semieylindrical throughout its entire length and the handles arranged at the opposite edges of the semicylindrieal wall, as shown.
