DESIGN FOR A SCALE-STANDARD.
SPECIFICATION forrning part Of Design No. 24,149, dated March 26, 1895.
Application filed September 24, 1894. Serial No. 523.984- Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, VVALTER F. STIMPSON,
a citizen of the United States, residing in Milan, Monroe county, and State of Michigan, 5 have invented and produced a certain new and useful Design for Scale-Standards, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad therein to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the drawings Figure 1 represents a front elevation of a scale standard embodying my design; and Fig. 2 is a side elevation thereof.
The design consists of the cylindrical tapering pillar A, at the top of which is the beaded I5 collar B. From this collar diverge the fanciful inclined scroll shaped arms C having the panelled cross bar D on their upper ends, all as shown in the drawings.
The essential features of the design are the pillar and the fanciful arms thereon connected 20 by the cross bar.
What I claim as new is- The design for a scale standard, substan' tially as shown and described.
