DESlGN FOR AN ARM-CHAIR.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,471, dated July 17, 1894.

Application filed June 16, 1894. Serial No. 514,808. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, JOHN MCLEAN, a citizen of the United States, residing, in the city of Brooklyn, Kings county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Arm-Chairs, of which the following is a specification.

The leading feature of my design consists in an arm chair having ornamental arms and an ornamental back of essentially the confign ration and representation exhibited in the accompanying drawing, forming part hereof, which shows a view in perspective of an arm chair embodying my design.

In the drawing A is the seat of the chair bordered by an ornamental apron a.

E ii are the logs of the chair, and I) b are ornamental scrolls between the legs B B.

C is the back of the chair consisting of the central ornamental scroll c, the surrounding border 0, and the snrmonnting top-ornament 0 D D are the ornamental scroll-work arms of the chair.

hat I claim is- The design for an arm chair substantially as shown and described.
