To aZZ whom if may concern:
Be it known that I, BENJAMIN DAvIEs, of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Ornamentatiou of' Glass Vessels, of which the following is a. specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure l is a plan View of a dish ornamented with my design, and Fig. 2 represents a cross sectional view of the same.
The leading feature of my design consists of two triangular figures crossing each other, each side of each figure being composed of parallel curved grooves.
In the design as represented iu the accompanying drawings, each side of each figure is composed of two deep parallel grooves a a curved in ogee form from the middle each Way to the ends, and connected by a series of fine grooves a. In the central space between star or rosette figure b, and the small space just inside each apex is oecupied by a. fan figure c.
In three of the spaces outside the crossing points of the triangular figures, and separate therefrom, are duplicate patterns, each of which is composed of fan figures cl of curved grooves with intervening fields of fine crossed grooves d. In the other threespaces and alternating with those just described, are duplicate separate patterns, each being composed ot' a series of oppositely curved grooves iu pairs, radiating from the center, and forming blank leaf-shaped fields e. Between the fields e are fan figures e' of small grooves.
Outside of and commencing at the apexcs of the triangular figures, are fan figures f, the outside grooves of'which are formed by continuations of the grooves a.
