DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,936, dated November 28, 1893.
Application filed October 14, 1893' Serial No. 488,185. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, CHARLES Boozn, a citizen of the United States, residing at Buffalo, in the county of Erie and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Wall-Paper, of which the following is a specification.
The design consists of a series of ornamental stripes arranged vertically, and between said stripes interlacing ribbons, and vines of flowers and leaves, running vertically in a wavy or serpentine-like manner as represented in the accompanying drawing. The ornamental stripes are formed of a series of connected scrolls which form the edges of said stripes,and smalldiamond shaped ornaments and dots inclosed in a net work coniposed of tine diagonal lines extending across said stripes as shown.
The border or upper portion of the design is formed of ornamental scrolls forming a diamond shaped panel filled with small diamond shaped ornaments and dots inclosed in a net work of fine diagonal lines as shown in the drawing, with ribbon festoons and sprays of flowers and leaves on each side of said panels as shown.
