DESIGN FOR A STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,220, dated February 14, 1893. Application tiled December 22, 1892. Serial No. 456,098. Term of patent 31 years.

To all whom, it may concern.-

Ile it known that I, Isaac DE IIAVEN, residing at Allegheny, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Design fol-Stoves, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in Which- Figure 1 represents a perspective front view of my design. Fig. 2 is a view illustrating the design of the top.

The leading features of my design are the ornamental representations, on the top A, the name plate 13, the hood C, pilasters 1), base and legsE and F, the blower( and the front II.

A indicates a representation of the stove top, A a raised panel like portion, the center of which has a circular representation a to each side of which is a floral ornamentation a Surrounding the front edge of such panel A is a scroll like ornamentation a which terminates at the ends in a square or tile like representation a The representation of the name plate includes a central frosted portion b and ornamental end portions b on which are delineated two figures b 0' one above the other surrounded by scroll like ornamentations If U.

The ornamental hood representation 0, is formed of a central arabesquo c, from which extend in opposite directions scroll ornaments c c. The pilaster ornamentations,comprise a frosted like base (I, so rroundcd by corrugated like edge ornamentations (1' a central lloral ornament (I and the transverse border like ornaments (1 The representation of the front frame includes a central panel portion ll, having diamond like figures h in which are lloral ornaments h, the horizontal corrugated representations 7L and an upper border or frieze It". The ornamental base edge is represented by a series of semicircular fign res c.

f indicates a circular ornament on the upper part of the leg in which is a central orna ment f, laterally extended ornaments terurinating in pointed like portions f being also delineated on such leg.

On the blower, G indicates a panel like representation in the ends of which are scroll ornaments g, which terminate at vertical bead like portions g, adjacent which are frosted portions g between which is a representation of a slide door g which has floral ornamentationsgon its face and over which is a representation of an ornamental handle g".
